Summer is OVER...

So the day has come that summer vacation is over. The backpacks are ready. Lunchboxes are lined up on the counter. New clothes are patiently waiting on top of dressers to be worn. Ajia and Jordan are very excited about starting school this year.

Cold SNAP!

We are in Alabama now and are experiencing the first cold weather of the school year. When we left for school it was 48 degrees outside. The funny part is that when I texted friends and family in Florida is was a whopping 80 degress at 8am!!! I do not miss that at all. I know that in January when it's in the 20's I will miss the warmth. I have tons of pictures to download and it seems every time I'm on here I am gonna be more diligent with this but now I have more time on my hands so I will be putting more on here now.

So it seems like forever since I've been on here. The school year starts and everything else goes out the window. We just got back from a trip to Alabama to visit Nani and her mountain. We will post pics in the next few days. December is already here and it seems like this year has just started. Time flies no matter how old you are you just notice it more when your a parent.

Well, all of this is new to me. I would like to be able to keep in touch with family and friends across the country with this blog. Ajia is 6 years old and in the 1st grade. She just received her first progress report and has all A's. I am very proud of her and her hard work. Jordan is 4 years old and learning to write his name. He's my little politician. He says hi to everyone he sees. He would talk to a tree if it would talk back. He makes me smile every day. I sacrified everything to have him even my life at times. I am so grateful that I did.
